SAP Academy

From the 2017/2018 academic year, the BERG Faculty joined the SAP Academy. The SAP academy was established on the basis of a memorandum between the Košice IT Valley association, the University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik and the SAP company. Students of our faculty have the opportunity to graduate from the SAP Academy in the programs SAP user, SAP administrator and SAP programmer, as part of the study programs:

• Transport Logistics of an Enterprise (SAP user)
• Informatization of processes of raw materials extraction and processing (SAP programmer)
• Management of Earth Sources (SAP user)
• Industrial Logistics (SAP user)
• Quality management of raw materials extraction and processing (SAP user)
• Process control of raw materials extraction and processing (SAP administrator)

After successful completion, students receive the SAP Academy Certificate of completion of the program, which is recognized by all members of the Košice IT Valley.

Each program consists of one common and three specialized subjects. The length of each subject is 6 weeks in the scope of 4 teaching hours in the evenings at the Faculty of Science UPJŠ in Košice, Jesenná 5.

• This program is provided by members of Košice IT Valley.
• A student who wants to complete the SAP administrator program must enroll in (all) of the following subjects at MAIS:

Winter semester

• 21000833        Basics of SAP technology
• 21000841        SAP system basics for users

Summer semester

• 21000842        SAP applications in public administration/ enterprise
• 21000843        SAP for advanced users

This subject also includes an internship at T-Systems.
